About Moi
I inherited an addiction to all things French at a young age - I "blame" my mother and my French immersion elementary school - and I haven't looked back since.
Born in Washington D.C., I moved to Paris for the first time in August 2005, and have lived in France on and off on several occasions over the past six years. My most recent eight-month stint in the city of lights inspired me to start Ma Vie en Franglais in September 2010.
Originally created to provide an "American girl living in Paris" perspective on everything from food to fashion to politics, an unexpected twist of fate landed me in New York City in May 2011. I decided to continue my ramblings from a small yet quaint two-bedroom apartment in Brooklyn, where I hope to maintain a French thread throughout all my observations and musings wherever I may be in the world.
Enjoy!
